This is the first video out of a series of tech-demos featuring Mechs that I will be releasing.
These are pieces that are inspired by the work of Jakub Różalski.
This was done in Unreal Engine 5.3 and filmed with RealCam v1 (not released yet).
I've used the Heterogenous Volume in UE5.3 for the smoke, and a lot of quixel assets. The mech is by Jonas Prunskus. Check out his sketchfab (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/flame...)
All shots are taken in realtime, and screen recorded using Nvidia shadowplay. The environment was running at 80FPS on an RTX 4090 with DLSS 3.5 Frame generation. I think the foliage was eating quite a bit of FPS.
