I thought the photogrammetry Tundra pack from megascans was incredible, so I wanted to put it to the test with a tech demo, that looks more like a concept art painting. As usual, playing with the sun actor, to see how nanite and Lumen interact with the scene (I think it's great how the Sun moves in the matrix trailer using the same technology). Love how photorealistic these assets look in unreal engine 5 gameplay. I've managed to record the workflow, and I'm planning to release this as a tutorial at a later stage. It was more or less simple to kitbash this landscape, even for beginners, so a tutorial would be quite quick.
This demo is recorded in real time, so this is basically UE5 preview gameplay, running at 60 FPS on a RTX 3070 with DLSS ON
Very minimal ambience with some crow sounds coming from the flying crows.
